Certification in Organisational Psychology

Certification in Organisational Psychology (endorsed by Malaysian Association of Psychotherapy (MAP) and Psychotherapy Chapter of Malaysia Society for Complementary Medicine); leading towards being a Board Certified Organisational Psycholologist with the Malaysian Association of Psychotherapy Board of Organisational Psychologists.

This course is providing Best-practice Organisational Psychology training for professionals who have a passion for assisting individuals and organisations, regardless of age, gender, race and social class to achieve optimum personal and professional growth.

Course Layout

We use the mastery system of education. Besides lecturing, this course provides clinical experience such as: research, case study, supervision & presentation. Assessment includes case study presentations, group participation, research paper and assignments

The topics mentioned above are taught within two half days lectures and six 50 minutes group clinical supervisions and tutorials within a period of approximately 3 months with clinical supervision & research implemented outside of classroom. During this period, students will be given assignments and projects to do.

Dr Chan is a fellow of the Malaysian Association of Psychotherapy; a fellow of the Malaysian Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Association; a Board Certified Organisational Psychologist with Malaysian Association of Psychotherapy Board of Certified Organisational Psychologist, a council member of the World Council of Psychotherapy, the chief editor of the International Journal of Psychotherapy, Counseling & Psychiatry: Theory, Research & Clinical Practice; the chair of the Asian Pacific Rim International Counseling & Psychotherapy Conference and the Chair of the World Psychotherapy Conference Asia 2015. Dr Chan has been practicing, teaching and training in organisational psychology, psychology, psychotherapy, and psychonutritional therapy for 18 years in Malaysia, Asia and Europe.Dr Chan is also a regular contributor to national newspaper and professional journals as well as a well-known radio and television personality on psychology and Organisational Psychology issues. Dr. Chan has also authored multiple books on these topics including the critically acclaimed Organisational Psychology Reference book: “Dancing with Crocodiles” on corporate psychology; Love Is Never Enough : Pleasurable Commitment Rules on Couple Sexual Psychology; Are You Man Enough To Be a Father on Family Psychology and the Current Research and Practices of Cognitive Behavior Therapy in Asia.
